Configuring DLP Policies
Introduces the steps to configure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) security policies.
Create a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy by following the steps below and add a WebService application as the policy target.
- Enter the page.
- Click Add to add a new policy.
- Enter the policy name and description to indicate that this policy is used for API calls.
- Set the policy group to which the policy belongs, with the default setting being Default Policy Group.
- Set the policy level, i.e., classify the policy, which can be set to Default Level.
- Enable the newly created policy, which is enabled by default.
- Specify the type of the newly created policy as a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy.
- Click the Content Inspection tab to add matches or exceptions for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rule elements.
- Click the Channel tab and check the WebService application in the network inspection channel.

Click the Source/Target tab, select Target in the match area, and set the WebService application as the target of the policy.
- Enter the name and description of the target.
- Add the target by selecting Add Target and checking WebService Application.
- Click +, which will pop up the WebService application selection window, and select the created WebService application.
- Click > to add it to the right valid area.
- Click Confirm to add the target list for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) inspection.
- Click OK to successfully add the policy target.
- Click the Action tab to set the action to be executed when an event matches the policy.
- Click Save to add the newly created policy to the list.
