Obtaining Authentication Information Based on Device Groups
Introduces how to obtain authentication information for high-availability device groups based on Unified Content Web-Service Inspector (UCWI).
Device high availability refers to forming a high-availability group with two or more security devices of the same type, serving as backups for each other. When any device in the high-availability group fails, other devices in the group can immediately take over to ensure the normal operation of services such as WebService API.
The security administrator needs to find the registered Unified Content Web-Service Inspector (UCWI) device group on the Unified Content Secure Server (UCSS) and follow the steps below to obtain the authorization and authentication information required for API calls.
- Login to Unified Content Secure Server (UCSS).
- Select to enter the Device Management page.
- Locate the registered Unified Content Web-Service Inspector (UCWI) device group.
-
Click the
icon in front of the device group to enter the Edit High Availability page corresponding to the device group.
-
Click the grayed-out Authentication Information button
in the top right corner, and the system will display the authorization and
authentication information required for API calls.
The authentication information incuding Access Key and Access Secret are displayed by the system.
Note: When a device fails and the authentication information cannot be updated, the system supports manual reset of the authentication information for the Unified Content Web-Service Inspector (UCWI) device group. Click the Reset checkbox and select Confirm to reset the device's authentication information. After the reset, enter the Authentication Information page again to obtain the updated device authentication information.
